VINTAGE TROUBLE – Everyone Is Everyone

by Maria Haskins

If you’ve seen Vintage Trouble live, chances are it’s an experience you won’t forget anytime soon. This band’s music is a magical mix of soul, rock, r&b and whatever else they care to throw into the mix, but on stage, they are a smash hit of power and emotion. I saw them in Vancouver a couple of years ago, and I hope to see them again sometime in the future.

“Everyone Is Everyone” is a smooth, gorgeous and deeply moving tune taken from the band’s new EP “Chapter II – EPII”. It’s available right now from the usual streaming places, and also from the band, pick up a copy at the band’s website.

Vintage Trouble is Ty Taylor, Nalle Colt, Rick Barrio Dill, and Richard Danielson.

THE MYSTERINES – Gasoline

by Neil Schiller

I’m always happy when I find a great band from my hometown. Or the Wirral. (If you’re unfamiliar with the geography – Liverpool, where I’m from, is on one side of the river; the Wirral, where I now live, is on the other). Anyway, this is great. Really great. It has a real Ramones vibe for me. Nice distorted guitar work, great vocals from lead singer Lia Metcalfe, and a proper ear for classic punk melody.

I stumbled across this to be honest, but I can see the band have been making quite a name for themselves on the live circuit around these parts. Keep an eye out for these guys, everyone is going to be talking about them soon enough.
