With its beautifully blended harmonies, folk arrangement, picturesque storyline, and breezy vibes, Indigo Roots Band’s recent single, “Gypsy Summertime” is a spark of warmth in an otherwise chilly time of year.
As the story goes, a country boy dreamer who is more often than not jealous of the freedom the wind possesses and a city girl who stole his heart…an unstoppable kinda of love only heard about in fairytales and romantic films. But unlikely connections are a powerful thing and, yes, it happens and now we the listeners have a dreamy new song to soundtrack our fantasies of meeting that improbable one and riding off into that proverbial lifelong sunset together. Swoon.
