And We Should Die Of That Roar – “Blood On Our Hands”  available on iTunes.

That Roar

by Walter Price

Times are strange, violent, confusing, and the world’s people need to make their voice’s heard. Maybe a slap in the face, and/or soul to wake them up. A wake-up call, to make a stand. Make those voices heard.

There’s blood on our hands
In this disaster so massive
Good Lord’s been ill for a while
Chronically impassive
And all the sleepwalking wolves
Lost in their towers, see
Above the heartbeat-mine-fields
Of all of us in need…

Those words come from Swedish power-blues outfit And We Should Die Of That Roar’s new single)video, “Blood On Our Hands”. Better words haven’t been written and spilled screaming across the lands this year. Times are turbulent, people are scared, and the suffering is spewing. Too many are talking endlessly while walking in blind circles and doing nothing.

Is “Blood On Our Hands” that wake up call, that slap in the soul the world needs…Check it out, decide and do not stand idle while our world bleeds.

And We Should Die Of That Roar

Blood On Our Hands is a new single from Swedish blues-punk-noir phenomenon And We Should Die Of That Roar. This is a bold tune. Heavy in its form and substance! Its purpose is not to entertain but to reflect our times. For And We Should Die Of That Roar it’s a duty! Not a choice! The song is bearing witness not only to the pain of the people afflicted by the horrors of war, genocide, and refuge but also to the responsibility each and every one of us have in not allowing ourselves and each other to remain passive in face of human suffering.

This is a song of pain! Of dark! Of despair and loss! Of war! Refuge! Of those who never managed to escape from a life they never wanted! Of those who were forced to flee from a life they loved! And of all those others who never found a home… innocent children on the run… those whose lifeless tiny bodies are washed up on far away coasts… face down in the sand… their lungs filled with motorboat oil and night cold salty seawater… and drowned dreams about a life that never came…

Let someone else stand for entertaining! We! Must! Reflect! Our! Times!
