Not to age-shame me, but as a younger fella, my Dodge’s floorboards were littered with cassettes labeled Germs, Circle Jerks, Adolescents, and the like. A time before pop put a stranglehold on the punk rock that twisted us. This is now and Melbourne’s supergroup, of sorts, Blowers has dropped an insane 15 track self-titled powder keg jam-packed with ‘zero fucks given’. And in an era when press releases are over-stuffed with overdone hyperbole and fluff, this outfit’s one-sheet is spot on.
And I quote, “So damn fast, so damn raw, so damn rude, so damn good.”, yeah, it’s all true. Bits of sickness, sticky chords, twisted humor, a bunch of stuff your mom will hate and a whole bunch of raw balls-to-the-wall rock n roll all smashed together. As this is a record to go fast to. And I have and you will. Buckle up.

“A rough and raw shot of garage punk from down under, BLOWERS’ self-titled debut album features a three-pronged vocal attack delivering songs themed around giving zero fucks.” – band bio
