Catch me if you can, VIDEO: BLEACHED – “Hard to Kill” [Don’t You Think You’ve Had Enough? LP]
Bleached – Don’t You Think You’ve Had Enough? LP is available @ Bandcamp.

by Walter Price
With plenty of nods to 80s/90s sonic beauties from The Romantics, Duran Duran, Bangles, The Cure and more, the recent single “Hard to Kill” from LA’s new directioned Bleached is a highly addictive timeless pop classic. Glittery grooves and a familiar gritty retro new wave vibe, it’s one that’ll move ya.
The accompanying evocative Thelma & Louise-esque film will timewarp you back to the heyday of MTV. When music videos were cool must-see events, played a huge part in a song’s trajectory, and guided your sense of fashion. Directed by Juliana and Nicky Giraffe for Giraffe Studios Imagination Emporium, this video is no doubt one of the most well thought out and executed pop videos of 2019. With attention to detail as the star supporting player…From the opening scene’s use of the faded art-deco architecture, the choreographed Vans’d feet sequences, color palettes, the band on the run shots and the way the directing duo framed the artists all scream homage.
Produced by Shane Stoneback, “Hard to Kill” is from the album Don’t You Think You’ve Had Enough? via Dead Oceans.
