…music has always been the primary way, EP: PEARL CHARLES – Between Dreams
Pearl Charles – Between Dreams EP is available at Bandcamp / Apple Music.

“I write songs to help heal myself and hopefully bring others a glimpse of the feelings I get when I listen to the artists that I love. A wide range of emotions to be sure, but ultimately the most important one being the connectedness of the realization that we are not alone.”, writes LA-based songwriter Pearl Charles in a Facebook post regarding the feelings for releasing her beautiful surprise four-track EP, ‘Between Dreams’. A set of unreleased outtakes, demos, or alt versions of tracks from her recent past.
“…I’m releasing Between Dreams, an EP of previously unreleased demos/alternate takes and outtakes from the Sleepless Dreamer era and my self-titled Burger Records EP. There is so much hurt in the world right now and there are multiple ways to combat the darkness, all of which are vital. For me, music has always been the primary way to serve this purpose. I write songs to help heal myself and hopefully bring others a glimpse of the feelings I get when I listen to the artists that I love. A wide range of emotions to be sure, but ultimately the most important one being the connectedness of the realization that we are not alone. Keep fighting for what’s right, keep searching, and finding the best version of yourself, what you alone can bring to the world. Between Dreams is a send-off to the past, as we journey on into the next chapter, musically and beyond.” – P. Charles
And if you’re a fan of Juice Newton, Linda Ronstadt, Olivia Newton-John, and/or the heyday of soft rock AM radio…or you just simply need a sonic chill pill, then this EP is just what the doctor ordered.
