Coming up with a band name or an alias for those basement dwelling singer-songwriters looking for a nice disguise to hide your fears, And face it, Destroy She Said and Hot Streak are taken (allegedly)…The GTC team has decided to come up with some fresh ideas each week in what we are calling, Your Band Name Sucks.
This week’s suggestion:
Swen & Jana
Origin: There is a tricked out gasser rolling around Leipzig Germany with metal and punk stickers all over the back and in the center of the rock tributes is a large decal that reads, “Swen & Jana”. It seems cool, if not romantic.
Thoughts: What a name idea! Singer-songwriters, metal bands with a twist of a wink and a smile, indie pop…pretty much this name fits everyone.
