Coming up with a band name or an alias for those basement dwelling singer-songwriters looking for a nice disguise to hide your fears, And face it, Cypress Hill and Hot Streak are taken (allegedly)…The GTC team has decided to come up with some fresh ideas each week in what we are calling, Your Band Name Sucks.

This week’s suggestion:

Trees for Tuesday

Origin: Standing on the corner of Zschochersche str. at Antonienstraße is Leipzig, Germany when two teen girls chatting one said, “Let’s skip and get trees.” I believe these two budding dendrologists had good intentions for the day.Btw;  it was a Tuesday.

Thoughts: What a name idea! Singer-songwriters, metal bands with a twist of a wink and a smile, indie pop, Hip Hop…pretty much this name fits everyone.
