Lovers Electric go Simply Red

In 1995 Simply Red was in an odd but good position worldwide with their Life album and their single “Fairground”. The track hit #1 in the UK (their only one I believe), sold amazingly well in Germany and found moderate success on US radio but as I recall the song was a huge club hit everywhere.

This is now and and indie-pop perfectionists Lover Electric (Eden Boucher / David Turley) have taken the classic pop tune in a retro-80’s direction and surprisingly not so surprising; made it contemporary.
