With a playful wink and a smile aimed at the music industry, the new video for The Junebug’s new single “Oregon”, hits the spot. Or maybe spots is a better way to put it. The track itself travels the thoughts of what is the reality, where is the comfort, as well as an homage to the band’s home state. All soundtracked in a folk-based pop rhythm. Traditional instrumentation in pop music isn’t all that new these days but The Junebugs have found a certain easy-going atmosphere in this track that makes it very accessible. And that is beautifully cozy.
