For those reminiscing about the hallowed (pop) punk revival of the ’90s and early 2000s, Marlborough, Massachusetts’ trio Color Killer has a track that’ll time-warp ya a bit, and it’s pointing fingers.

“Pat on the Back” has an origin story anyone in a scene will find familiar. In a Facebook post for the video, the band said, “This song’s a true story about a manchild from our home state who was so obsessed with us we nearly had to take out a restraining order. He was constantly online whining and talking shit about us because we were playing certain shows that he wasn’t. A lot of that probably has to do with the fact that he’s been kicked out of nearly every band he’s ever been in. Maybe he secretly wanted to date one of us, we don’t really know. Last we heard he was locked in his mom’s basement, watching Fox News and drooling all over himself.”

Get the wretched (allegedly) lil man a tissue!

If you’re a drooling or non-drooling fan NOFX, Lagwagon, No Use for a Name, and the like—stream Color Killer’s killer “Pat on the Back” at the GTC… Whoa whoa whoa

Picking on little kids
Has you feeling like big man
In your big boy underpants
You must be so proud
When you’re knocking down the scene
And pushing everyone away
What’s your motivation
In these stupid games you play
Are you jealous, feeling cheated
Cause you’re not getting your way
