Wildstreet – Three Way Ride is available at Apple Music.
by Walter Price
Wildstreet has seemingly time-traveled themselves from the mid-eighties smack dab into the modern landscape. And when everyone is walking on cancel culture eggshells, this parts Hanoi Rocks and Jetboy glam metal outfit are putting out pure back alley glitz rock n roll. Explosive, riff-heavy bangers that not only bring raunch and raucous back to self-indulgent rawk but with a fair amount of wink-and-a-smile to balance things out.
For example, their stylistically retro video for their single, “Three Way Ride”, is reminiscent of what was filling MTV in their heyday. Sexy, dirty, glam, no minced sentiments and it is, simply, a blast. Oh, and watching vocalist Eric Jayk writhing around with the metal goddesses and subtly sliding in a shot of that classic Oldsmobile 88, is genius.
You can watch the Daniel Rockman directed film below. And the band has announced a new single, “Born To Be“, which will drop 21 Febuary.
