Here is the thing, try to be pragmatic when you approach the tunes by the dirty side of UK Rock N’ Roll overlords Ten Benson. Raw, sludgy and powerful guitar work in similar beats to drive points home. Think ZZ Top were spacemen and twisting at the teets of AC/DC until the proper and by proper I mean a brand of rock like you probably haven’t heard before. That was my experience when I first heard the band for first time early 2002 or 2003 hard to say exactly but what is solid is the first song I got smacked up side my head with was “Tits”. This song is dirty, simple and propably not exactly what you think it is when you first hear it.

This is a recurring theme running throughout the history of the recently MIA band. The band are back from wherever it is they hid-away to, most likely a dark cabin in some forgot wood waiting to righteously destroy the sonic landscapes once again. Before we get to that lets talk about the recent behind the scenes “Tits” footage the band have put into a nice little video. Footage that shows the good-natured debauchery and late night affair making the videos really was. A track that goes social commentary disguised in a raunchy package. Anyway give it a whirl, it doesn’t matter if you’ve loved the band since the early days or are catching their wind this time round you’ll dig both the full original video and the lost footage clip for “Tits”.

Back to now, Ten Benson have a few live shows out and about so try to catch them if you can and look for the new track “Mud Man” out 15 August. Catch the teaser for the new track > HERE.

Have A Nice Day
