Dragland – “The Roadmaster” is available @ Bandcamp.
by Walter Price
There’s always that undeniable classic rock sound to Dragland’s music. Blended soft earthy rock and hints of psych soundtracking from-the-heart lyrics. Their new one, “Colors” is no exception. A beautiful ode to those tricky long-distance relationships. The highs, lows, and overwhelming eagerness all taking their turns twisting their tentacles into lovelorn souls. And, if you’re lucky, it is worth every second.
To accentuate the emotional trip, director Alex Hendriks utilizes the dancing talents of Rebecca and Bryan Garza (Love Jerks). In uninhibited moves, we’ve all done, alone… Expressing exuberance, you may be too shy (or embarrassed) to verbalize. Groove is in the heart, indeed.
The new love-is-the-most-powerful-narcotic track comes from the three-track EP of the same name.
