Happy Birthday, Global Texan Chronicles Turns Four Years Old!

Four Years Old!

four years old

Four Years already?! Thank You All for coming by The GTC and telling your friends about our humble little site.

‘After a few years away from the music business I noticed that a good number of music blogs, websites, and magazines adopted this new(ish) practice of slamming, shaming, and flat out going negative on artists to gain mass-appeal. It didn’t rub me the right way. So I decided on August 1, 2013, to start a place that would celebrate and promote the artists, people, or events that I and the contributors actually believed in, were already fans of, or we just dug in the moment. I think we’ve succeeded. The GTC isn’t massive, but the purpose and our integrity are intact.” – Walter Price

A Huge Special thanks to our amazing contributors over the years. Maria Haskins, A. Michael Uhlmann, Alle Royale, Jan Afur, Ken Michaels, Billy Momo, Marc Griffiths, Lisa Black Claudia Price, JP Kallio, and the entire team at Real Rock And Roll Music Blog (Maria Savva, Darcia Helle, and Neil Schiller).
