Alice In Chains have some fine and dandy news for the UK, they’re coming your way in November.
Jerry Cantrell, Sean Kinney, Mike Inez and vocalist, extraordinaire, William DuVall will be rockin’ your British socks off on The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here tour.
And if you’re one of those “old days were the best fans”, chill a bit and try to understand that AIC could just be the saviors of the hard rock sound we’ve been waiting for. Bringing pure rock back to the masses and things certainly seem to be pointing in that direction. You can respect the past as well as rawk the now and into the future…
“I don’t think there’s closure per se. That seems to me like the wrong word,” Inez said. “You obviously move on and the world keeps spinning, and the gigs keep coming and stuff like that, but sometimes, especially like on the tour bus late at night when there are no sounds going on and it’s really silent, I start thinking about Layne and stuff like that, still to this day. And I don’t ever want to stop thinking about Layne. Yeah, it’s a different world for us, but there are some parts of the other world which just are so special. We’ve been through so much together, all of us, the history of it. There’s nothing we can do about the past.” – Mike Inez (Article by Alan Sculley Daily Herald)
So lets move from the debate and start embracing some good old fashioned hard rock values like the ones Alice In Chains are providing us in the here and now.
